Change them twice a day
Elastics lose their strength. Swap in fresh ones each morning and before bed.
Wear them as instructed. Not wearing your elastics as prescribed will make treatment take longer than expected.
Good to know
- Take them out to eat and brush, then put them right back.
- Lost or broke one? Replace it as soon as you can. Always carry a spare pack.
- A little soreness in the first few days to a week is normal. Tylenol or Advil can help.
- Wearing them on and off keeps you sore, because your teeth never get used to them.
- Running low? Call the office at (416) 555-0134 and a new supply will be waiting at reception.
